Sri Thota Mallaiah, (circa, 1897-1994) was an employee of the NIZAM government. He was a community and village developer, and, philanthropist.

"To promote and propagate a social service and cultural excellence among the community, a ward will be given to an individual person whose motive is to help economically backward rural people, to work with and educate people towards higher education and better and healthy life, to preserve integrity of green environment. All of which are essential for sustained long-life in villages."

This award will be given once in 5 years on a historic day, in a school ceremony.

Nominations will be solicited, and first award will be announced in the January 2021.
